Epina Eye Drop (Epinastine) - 5ml

Precautions:

• Use only as prescribed by your doctor; do not exceed the recommended dosage.
• Wash your hands before and after using the drops to avoid contamination.
• Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface, including the eye, to keep the solution sterile.
• Remove contact lenses before application and wait at least 10–15 minutes before reinserting them.
• Avoid driving or operating machinery immediately after use if you experience temporary blurred vision.
• Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have any other eye conditions or infections.
• Do not use the drops if the solution changes color or becomes cloudy.
• Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use and store it as directed.
• Discontinue use and consult a doctor if you experience severe irritation, pain, or vision changes.

Interactions

Epina Eye Drops (Epinastine) generally have minimal systemic absorption, so drug interactions are uncommon. However, consider the following:

• Other ophthalmic medications: If using additional eye drops or ointments, administer them at least 5–10 minutes apart to avoid dilution or interference with absorption.
• Contact lenses: Avoid wearing contact lenses during treatment, especially if eyes are red or irritated, as lenses may worsen symptoms or absorb preservatives in the drops.
• CNS depressants/alcohol: Although unlikely due to low systemic absorption, caution is advised as epinastine may cause mild drowsiness in rare cases.
• Hypersensitivity reactions: Avoid use with other products that may cause ocular irritation if sensitivity develops.
